How To Photograph Storms SAFELY In Landscape Photography
I own both as well and I will say that the D750 does a better job of focusing in low light over the D850. The D850 has a tendency to hunt focus a bit. Love having both options at my ready! Great video!!!
Nice find on the Bronze Cuckoo. Very helpful video for Nikon dslr users scouting for Z cameras. Hope Z50 upgrade is on its way.
Do you know if my Nikon afs 200-500mm lens will take great pictures with the Nikon D750 camera? I take pictures at 50 yards and further. Top notch video. Thanks for sharing your experience with us. ❤❤❤
Yes that lens will work well on the D750 - it also worked well on my D850 in this video I made - ua-cam.com/video/_V3fXvWbdEM/v-deo.html
1st of all thanks for your review. I just switched from a D850 to a Z8 and I am looking to buy a Z lens which I think this will be my first one. Can you please tell me the brand of your filters holder and filters, truly appreciated. Giovanni

@@paulmcfeeley3651 just used mine today and it’s brilliant
if you had to bring a prime lens for landscape, what would you pick between 35mm and 40mm?

thank you for this video, just picked up the filter and this is such a great explaination and review of it
Thanks for watching. Would you believe I was out with it just a few hours ago doing a waterfall video for my UA-cam channel. I’d actually forgotten how good this filter is 🙏
Hi Adrian - Great video as always. I will be upgrading my Z6ii to Z6iii as most of my shooting is sports and wildlife. The 3D tracking will make it a good comparative to my D750.
very frank and clear advice ... I am similar to you with a raft of F mount cameras that I love ... great video ...
A Nikon 14-30 with the tamron 35-150 is a killer combo for sure. The 35-150 replaces sonmany lenses. The 24-120 is grt for travel sure but when it comes to versatility the tamron is better. For things like capturing any occasions or concerts of your children the tamron wins hand down.
I own and use the 14-24mm f/2.8 Nikkor auto focus zoom lens. I have never owned or used the 16-35mm f/4 auto focus zoom lens because the f/4 maximum aperture is too slow for my style and subject matter. I do, however, own and use a Nikkor 20-35mm f/2.8 auto focus zoom lens.
Hi. I have 2 questions.. 1) Which one would be the best for portrait photography..?? 2) in tamron lens can we set and have the constant aperture e.g., f/4 throughout 35mm to 135mm (to use in videography)..??
Answers to: 1 - Tamron & 2 - Yes
@@adrianalfordphotography thank you.. 👍🏻
Good lens..
Good Evening, Adrian! The D850 is the finest DSLR ever made by Nikon to add the vertical grip increase in fps to 9 frames a second and also big file size for heavy crop etc. but D750 Joy uses Great Excellent image quality + Outstanding dynamic range at low ISOs. Excellent high ISO performance. Good buffer depths when shooting JPEGs. New highlight-weighted metering mode. Good performance from the built-in flash.
Hi Adrian another great review my friend. Great lens for the price. Video and portraits taken were outstanding. Have a wonderful weekend 📸🙏🏼👏
Many thanks for watching my friend - have a fantastic week ahead 👍🙏
thanks, do you use filter with this lens ?
My D750 is still going strong, and I'm really happy with the images it produces (not leaving me wanting on image quality). The lenses available now for mirrorless though are so tempting (sharper, smaller, sometimes lighter, and different focal lengths esp. for wide angle) and just aren't available for F-mount. Has me really debating a Z6iii, or a Z8! Or, maybe just a D780 for a minor upgrade.
Adrian, excellent review as always. Interesting lens to say the least, that said, for me I am more interested in full frame options to get the most of my Z7. Thanks again my friend.
Thanks for watching my friend. Hope you have an awesome weekend 🙏
Another great review Adrian and good value - many thanks for sharing the info - have a great week
Thank you Shaun. Really appeciate you watching. Have a fantastic weekend mate 🙏
Congratulations on the excellent comparison between these two cameras. Thanks
Great review, Adrian! You’re going to need a bigger lens cabinet pretty soon!
Thanks Phil. Most of the lenses I donate to a local photography club so each member can have access and improve their skills. Have a great weekend 🙏
56mm on APSC makes it 85mm full frame!! Perfect focal length for portraits!! Bargain price as well!!
Thanks so much for watching. Enjoy your weekend 🙏
Looks like great value for money. Beautiful portrait shots & general nature. The video is great too. Certainly stacks up.
Thanks for watching 🙏
Thx for the review. I'm still waiting on Nikon to release a new crop sensor camera like a Z90 or Z50II
I think a lot of people are waiting for a new Z mount crop sensor camera. Hopefully soon. Thanks for watching 🙏
Hi Adrian, a great video as always, buddy! I said that already in another comment, but it really gives me once more to think how good these budget lenses have got over time. Maybe it is not the best one. But the ratio between the price and what you get is stunning. Thank you for the video and have a great weekend, 👍🍻 Christian
Thanks for watching Christian. I'm really amazed at the quality of some of these budget lenses. This particular lens worked really well for portraiture. Have an awesome weekend buddy, cheers 🙏

I have been shooting with Nikon SLRs since 1972. D750 is the last DSLR I purchased and I will never sell it. A few months ago, my daughter's family came to visit. I took several family pictures and realized I forgot to reset some exposure settings from the previous shoot. All the pictures looked completely black. By the time I got them corrected, my grandkids stopped cooperating. It was a pleasant surprise that I could easily recover normal-looking photos in post-processing. So I can attest to your picture of the bird in the cave.
Prices for F mount glass is plummeting. I will happily scoop up the bargains. Leaning 14-24 on used value alone.
Yes, I still own a D750 with no plans to sell it or go mirrorless. The more I investigate mirrorless, the more I prefer my D750.
I’m just getting into photography and I just got the d750 and I’m loving it, I definitely recommend it to beginners and experienced photographers.
This is it!👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
thank you!
I bought this camera in 2022 and I love it. It replaced my D7500. It’s so reliable and feels great in the hands. I love the sound of that shutter too. The picture quality and exposure are always spot on. And yes, there’s plenty of lenses to choose from!
The z6ii is still a great camera. The price has come down these days. Got a new z6ii for a really good price with the 24-120. I don't think, i will regret it. I‘ll use it for landscape and astrophotography.
Just picked up an 850 with 105k actuations for 1200 bucks in the usa
Just ordered one yesterday - 3156 shutter count - seller went mirrorless. Paid $1700.00 US.
Excellent Work - Sadly I am now age 84, and lost most of my mobility. Your awesome work brings back fond memories when I was able to get out into wildlife areas here in West Central Florida. Your images are amazing, as is your Video work. Thank You so much for sharing your awesoime knowledge & Photography Skills.
You're most welcome my friend
Thanks for the Video. When My faithful Nikon D3s failed after many years. I shopped, and purchased the Nikon D850. I am very happy with this Camera.
Fantastic video! I’ve had my D750 since 2017, and I’ve hiked and backpacked with it all over the world including Antarctica. It’s a joy to handle and operate, especially the full-frame viewfinder. Your images in this video are awesome, and you’ve inspired me to try some new things in photography. Thank you!
I still own a D750 that I bought in Italy on vacation in 2016, and I still use it today. It takes great pictures after I adjusted the settings to suit my needs. It will probably stay with me until it stops working.
when i click the link it says " page not found" any suggestions?
Did you type viltrox.com into your search bar?
@@adrianalfordphotography yes, when i clicked the link in your reply it did take me to the website, but unfortunately i was looking for the update for sony 85mm 1.8 fe. seems it doesnt exist, thanks for your help on getting there
If I could afford it, I'd definitely upgrade... but I can't, so I won't. Still, it's not like the 6ii is a bad camera... it's an EXCELLENT camera, just not as good as the 6iii
Spot on!
I will definitely jump from my z5 to z6iii.
Yup! 👍🏾
Waiting for zf with stacked or partially stacked sensor
Good video. I am glad someone told this honestly. Focusing speed alone is not the parameter for a good camera. Of course, AF speed is crucial for certain type of shoot but not all. For the rest, the Z6 ii will still get the job done with its amazing picture quality.
Hello Adrian, Thanks for sharing I want to know if this camera have 9:16 aspect ratio to share videos on TikTok or Reels. Thanks in advance
No it can’t shoot vertical
If this camera existed a year ago, I definitely would have jumped on it… I’d been so frustrated with the AF on the Z7II for years so I caved during the holiday sales and grabbed a Z8. I don’t need 45MP as a hobbyist, but I definitely don’t want to miss moments with my kids due to focus issues…. I got a great deal on my Z8 and absolutely love it… but had this one been around, I probably would have gotten it instead and had cash left over to grab another lens.
